"Imayō" translates to "modern style" or "current fashion." In the Heian period (794–1185) this color was named because it was the "trend of the moment " deeply loved by the women of that era. It is a glamorous warm hue derived from Safflower (Benibana). When dyed lightly it blooms into a gentle pink; when layered it deepens into a vivid yellow-tinged crimson. 「今様」とは、「現代風」「当世風」という意味。平安時代（794年–1185年）、当時の女性たちの間で「今、流行の色」として愛されたことから名付けられた色です。 原料となる紅花（べにばな）が生み出す、華やかで温かみのある色合い。淡く染めれば優しく愛らしい桜色に、重ねて染めれば鮮やかな黄みの紅色に仕上がります。 かつての貴族たちも魅了された、時を超えて愛されるこの色を、現代の暮らしの中でお楽しみください。

3. 染め方の方法について
本キットには、初心者の方でも安心して取り組めるよう、詳しい手順書を同封しています。
基本的な流れは、煮出した染料に生地を浸し、媒染（色を定着させる工程）を行い、水洗いして乾かすシンプルな工程です。
ご自身のキッチンで、植物の香りに包まれながら色が移ろう時間をゆっくりとお楽しみください。
4. Care Instructions for Your Finished Piece
- Washing: Wash separately using a neutral detergent in cold or lukewarm water to prevent color transfer.
- Drying: Natural dyes are sensitive to UV rays. Please dry in the shade to preserve the hue.

4. 染めた作品のお手入れ方法について
- 洗濯：色移りを防ぐため、中性洗剤を使用し、冷水またはぬるま湯で単独洗いをしてください。
- 乾燥：天然染料は紫外線に繊細です。色あせを防ぐため、直射日光を避けて陰干ししてください。
- 経年変化：使い込むほどに色が馴染み、風合いが増していきます。自然な色の移ろいを「育てる」感覚で愛用してください。

- The final color result will vary depending on the fabric material (cotton, linen, silk, etc.), thickness, dyeing time, and temperature.

- Please be cautious of potential shrinkage when dyeing delicate natural fibers such as wool or silk.

- 仕上がりの色は、染める素材（綿、麻、シルク等）や生地の厚さ、染める時間、温度によって異なります。
- 手染め特有の「色ムラ」ができることがありますが、機械染めにはない手仕事の味わいとしてお楽しみください。
