Inspired by the elegance of Japanese bathing rituals and the ease of daily life in a ryokan, it transforms these influences into effortless lounge and leisurewear.

A Journey of Color: Kyoto Craftsmanship and European Sensibility

Hand-painted by skilled artisans in Kyoto, the natural fabrics feature soft colour gradients drawn from Kukka’s journeys through Japan—reinterpreted with a European twist. The three colourways, deeply rooted in Japanese tradition yet subtly reframed, reflect the passing of the day: crisp dawn, bright daytime, and warm dusk. Airy blue recalls the depth of aizome, green echoes mossy temple gardens, and a warm reddish brown reflects torii gates and earthenware. Together, they create a palette that feels both familiar and refreshingly new, bridging cultures and aesthetics from Japan to Scandinavia and the Mediterranean.
